LA BAJAMARBook

Cooking that beginswhere the hillside ends.

Sea, fire, market produce and carefully chosen wine for an unhurried table. Our menu moves with Valparaíso and changes when the coast does.

Coastal dishes served at the centre of a dining table
The produce writes the menu. We look after the fire, the timing and everything that happens around the table.

What came in, what we lit.

A short menu made for sharing. Ask about today's catch and market vegetables.

La Bajamar dining room with timber tables and an open kitchen

A hillside house, open to the sea.

La Bajamar was created to cook close to what gives it meaning: the harbour, the market, the hills and long conversations. We keep the menu small because we would rather choose well than offer too much.

The dining room brings together timber, stone and late-afternoon light. The kitchen is open; fire is part of the view.

Come to watch the harbour, taste the coast and stay a little longer.
